CoolSpeech is a voice output program designed for use by individuals with low vision. This text-to-speech player reads text files (.txt format), rich-text files (.rtf format), and HTML files (.html format). It can read e-mail messages, web pages, and clipboard contents aloud. It also reads words or sentences as they are typed, and converts text files into spoken WAV files. Files, URLs, and e-mails can be scheduled to be read aloud, and the program can be set to read the time and date in different styles. Forty-two voices from Microsoft and L&H, and a number of other voices from IBM, Elan, Digalo, Eloquent, etc. are supported. COMPATIBILITY: For use on IBM and compatible computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Windows 95/98/Me/NT4/2000/XP and a sound card.
