Picture of VISIOBOOK The VisioBook is a video magnifier designed for use by individuals with low vision. The VisioBook is portable and folds into a shape and size similar to a laptop computer. When folded, it is designed to fit into a large briefcase or bag. It has a folding mechanism with three safe articulated joints. This video magnifier features a full-color, auto-focus high definition (HD) camera (1280 x 720 pixels) for both close range and distance viewing and a 12.5-inch widescreen TFT (thin film transistor) LCD (liquid crystal display) screen with LED-backlight technology. The screen's position is height-adjustable, and it can be inclined. Viewing modes include full natural colors, seven artificial color combinations, and inverse colors. The unit magnifies images between 1.8 and 30 times their original size. Other features include a button panel with six function keys and a control dial for adjusting the size. POWER: Built-in lithium-ion battery with 100-240 volt AC, 50-60 Hertz power charger (included). Operating time is 5 hours. DIMENSIONS (WxDxH): 13.4 x 12.5 x 2.1 inches (folded); 15.7 x 12.5 x 18.9 inches (in operation). WEIGHT: 7.9 pounds.
