Picture of FLEX-EYE Flex-Eye is a CCTV designed for use by individuals with low vision. This CCTV has a flex-arm mount that offers almost unlimited choice of camera positions and angles. It can be used for crafts and small repairs as well as reading text, and it can be rotated sideways to allow the user to view his or her own face. This high-resolution video magnifier offers a choice of color, black and white, or reverse image viewing. Focusing is automatic. The camera unit connects to an ordinary television set (not included). There are only two controls. One is the on/off control, and the other is the color/reverse image switch. The camera has a wide angle and can see the entire width of a business letter or magazine page. When the wide angle image is displayed on a large screen TV (27 inches or larger), users can orient themselves on the page, then zoom in to read at whatever magnification they prefer, keeping as much of the page as possible on screen. This minimizes or eliminates the need to move the page back and forth beneath the camera, making it easier to read. Magnification ranges are two to 10 times for a 13-inch TV, three to 15 times for a 20-inch TV, four to 20 times for a 26-inch TV, and five to 27 times for a 35-inch TV. OPTIONS: X-Y table for holding materials for viewing. WEIGHT: 5 pounds with carrying case (included).

Notes: Shipping and handling charges are not included in the purchase price listed.
