The ELG Television Reader, model 1651-04, is a closed circuit television (CCTV) system designed for use by individuals with low vision. It consists of an adjustable camera unit set over a moveable table surface on which objects are placed for viewing on a television (not included). The CCTV connects to any television and provides up to 65 times magnification, depending on the size of the television used. Images can be viewed with enhanced contrast or in reverse polarity. The CCTV can be used to read books, newspapers, or magazines, to write, or for activities such as filling a syringe or threading a needle. The CCTV controls are designed to be simple to operate. The CCTV comes with assembly and operating instructions in large print. OPTIONS: Carrying case. WEIGHT: 7.85 kilograms.
