The Twin Lux LED 8D is a magnifying lens on stand with light designed for people with low vision. This magnifier features ergonomically designed inclined viewing for comfortable reading. The Twin Lux LED 8D magnifies 4.4 times original size using two aspherical lenses. It is equipped with a 4-chip SMD light emitting diode (LED) to provide high contrast lighting. The Twin Lux LED 8D is available in three lighting temperatures: 2700K, 4500K and 6000K. The magnifier’s frame is coated with an antibacterial substance. POWER: Requires three AA batteries (included). WARRANTY: 10-year manufacturer’s warranty.
Notes: The American Optometric Association recommends that magnifiers with a magnification factor greater than 3x be prescribed by a vision professional. ** Optelec and Precision Vision will only sell the Twin Lux LED 8D to eye care professionals, not directly to consumers.
