(Verified 11/2002) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Viewpoint VGA with PC Access is a low vision reading system designed to enable individuals with visual disabilities to use their computer and monitor to read printed material. The system includes the Viewpoint system (see separate entry) and a Handscan hand-held camera system. The camera focuses on the printed page, photo, letter, etc., enlarges the print, and displays it on the monitor. The system features a choice of black-and-white or color display, the ability to connect to a television as well as a computer monitor, glass optical lenses, in-line configuring, side-by-side configuration, and selectable color combinations. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: VGA or SVGA monitor. MONITOR: Available without a monitor, with a 14-inch black-and-white monitor, or with a 14-, 17-, or 20-inch color monitor. OPTIONS: Handwriting stand, padded carrying case, and handwriting adapter lamps. WARRANTY: 12 months from date of purchase on parts and service. Service agreements that extend the warranty on proprietary products are available.
