--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 11/2002) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Spectrum Jr. is a low vision reading system designed to magnify documents for individuals who have difficulty seeing. It is a compact, one piece full color video reading system that combines features of other Optelec machines (see separate entries). It provides clear magnified images of photos, magazines, and graphics in full lifelike color and magnifies 3x to 60x. There is a two color reading mode that allows magnified text to be displayed in any one of twenty foreground/background color combinations. The Enhanced Reading Mode reduces image blur when the reading material is moved. An on-screen marker allows for tracking text and numbers. The table space with features such as swivel and tilt base for easy viewing. DIMENSIONS: Screen size is 14 inches diagonal. Table is 13 x 13 inches. Table motion is 9 inches back to front and 11 inches side to side. WARRANTY: Two year parts and labor warranty.
