(Verified 09/2008) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Optelec's 20 / 20 Video Magnification System is a reading system designed to let persons with low vision read independently at home, work or school. With a magnification range of 3 to 60x, this system uses a CCD video camera designed to provide high-contrast images displaying exceptional clarity with no distortion. It also features normal and reverse image modes intended to enable the user to view white on black or black on white. Image size, focus, brightness and monitor height (25 degree tilt) are all user-adjustable, and a split-window feature is intended to simultaneously display both the material on the reading table and the remote image. The reading table is designed to move by hand with left and right margin stops and a friction break controls the front and back movement. This low vision reading system is collapsible and can be transported by hand in an optional carrying case. It can also be connected to any PC-type computer. OPTIONS: Remote TV camera; LP-DOS large print interactive software package; hookup cable; external monitor; carrying case; custom stand; dust cover. POWER: 110V, 60 Hz, 1A.
