--- DISCONTINUED. RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Low Vision reading system. Hand held camera picks up image which is relayed to any TV screen and magnified 3 X to 40 X. Uses a high speed Newicon camera which eliminates image burn and reduces scanning lag. Useful for reading texts, labels, documents or looking at pictures. Accessories: Optical heads to allow typewriting, seeing at a distance, connection to a computer terminal or reading microfiche. Portable, comes in briefcase, weight 18 pounds.
