Picture of BIGREADER BigReader is a video magnifier designed for use by individuals with low vision in libraries and other public locations. It features a flat screen monitor with a handheld camera unit. The monitor can be placed on a desk or other flat surface using a desk stand, or it can be wall mounted using the industry standard VESA mounting points. The camera unit can be connected to the monitor via a security bracket, so that neither the camera or the power supply can be removed without the correct tool. Whenever a visitor would like to magnify something, they press the Power button and start reading. The magnifier provides a clear image magnified up to 17 times original size. The magnifier is available in two models, Black & White or Full Colour with reverse mode and enhanced positive mode. Brightness and contrast can be adjusted. DIMENSIONS: 17-inch screen.
