Picture of AVC ADVANTAGE AVC Advantage is a voice output voting machine designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. This electronic voting system has a full ballot display with audio voting and smart card activation. A large candidate area on the ballot display accommodates large type. A tactile voting switch and visual indicator confirm that a voting selection has been made. The voting machine is wheelchair accessible. The machine supports up to 2,000 ballot styles with 504 ballot positions. POWER: Uses 110 volts alternating current (AC) with built-in backup battery capacity of over 16 hours. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): In storage position, the unit is 39.3 x 24.5 x 46.5 inches; in voting position, the unit is 75.3 x 55 x 46.5 inches. WEIGHT: 225 to 265 pounds.
