Picture This... is a flash card program designed for use by parents and teachers of children with learning, cognitive, and language disabilities. The compact disk (CD) contains 2,700 photos in 30 different categories, along with a basic program that allows the user to format photos into various size flash cards with or without text. The high-resolution photos are shot against a plain background and are sorted into the following categories: Actions, animals, bathroom, bedroom, body, buildings, clothing, colors, electronics, emotions, food, furniture, holidays, household, kitchen, lineart, music, nature, opposites, people, places, prepositions, rooms, sequences, shapes, sports, tools, toys, travel, and vehicles. In addition to flash cards, the user can create lotto boards with different colored borders. OPTIONS: Regular edition or professional edition. The professional edition contains an additional 200 photos and three additional photo categories (health, what's different, and what's wrong), along with software that allows users to search pictures phonetically or by word; print labels in English, French, German, Spanish, or Italian; move and copy pictures; print custom-sized cards with or without colored borders; print colored labels above or below the picture; and use the clipboard to copy pictures into and out of the program. COMPATIBILITY: For use with IBM and compatible computers or Apple Macintosh computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: For the IBM compatible version, Windows 95/98/ME/XP/2000/NT (regular or professional edition), a printer (preferably color), and a CD-ROM drive are required. The Macintosh version requires MacOS 7.5 or higher (regular edition), or MacOS 8.5 or higher (professional edition), a printer (preferably color), and a CD-ROM drive.
