The Aladdin Companion is a low vision reading system designed to magnify text and photographs. This portable system features a built-in carrying handle, a fixed reading table, and a nine-inch black-and-white monitor. This system provides print magnification to more than one inch high, bright negative viewing mode, and a photo viewing mode. The unit offers magnification from 2.8X to 17.5X. Television inputs enable the unit to be connected to a television for viewing a larger image. Controls include a size control lever for magnification change, a focus control lever, and a variable picture control knob.
