Sense of Science: Plants, model 1-08980-00, is a science tutorial program designed for use by students with low vision or learning disabilities. The program includes a large print guidebook with activities to teach basic plant concepts; colorful, raised-line overlays for use with a light box (not included), showing a bean seed cross-section, flowers, leaves, trees, etc.; and two trays designed to fit under a light box ledge to provide a secure working area for the overlays. Activities can be performed with the overlays or with real objects. Overlays can be helpful to students who benefit from a multisensory approach to learning. OPTIONS: A braille version of the guidebook is available separately (model 5-08980-00).
Notes: This science program is recommended for students age five through ten.
