Picture of SNAPDRAGON The SnapDragon is a powered elevating wheelchair designed for indoor or outdoor use by children as young as one year old with mobility or neurological disabilities or spinal cord injury. FRAME: Modular powerbase in a choice of six standard colors. The chair disassembles for transport. CONTROLS: Programmable joystick. SEAT: The seat features an elastometric suspension and is custom-made to fit every individual. SEAT ELEVATOR: The powered seat elevator adjusts the height of the seat from the floor to standing height. The tilt angle adjusts from 10 to 25 degrees. ARMRESTS: Included. BRAKES: Electronic braking with an independent manual parking brake. WHEELS: Puncture-resistant front drive wheels are 12.8 inches. CASTERS: Six-inch rear ribbed globe casters. FOOTREST: A self-straightening footrest is standard. POWER: Uses two rechargeable batteries for up to two days of use between charges. SPEEDS: Three to six miles per hour. Speeds can be maintained with the seat at the top of the elevator. Reverse is half speed. WEIGHT: 187 pounds with seat and batteries. CAPACITY: 40 kilograms.
