Picture of 10-INCH BRAILLE READING PLATFORM (MODEL BRS1) The 10-Inch Braille Reading Platform, model BRS1, is a bookholder designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. This unit is made of acrylic and fits over a Perkins Brailler (see entry), a computer keyboard, or the slate and stylus. It can be used to hold a telephone on top and a brailler beneath. It also fits over braillers with a Brailler Pad and a braille book or worksheet can rest on the platform, which encourages two-handed braille reading. DIMENSIONS: 10 inches high with a 10 x 20 inch platform. COLOR: Clear.
