Picture of BOOK CRADLE --- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 01/2013) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Book Cradle is a bookholder and bookstand designed for use by individuals with grasping or upper extremity disabilities or arthritis. A book's spine is placed on the Book Cradle's narrow frame, and when the book is opened, three adjustable arms at the base of the frame fold upward to secure the book and keep it open to a selected page. An adjustable strap is attached to the top and bottom of the back of the frame that allows the user to hold the book with one hand. To perch the book on a desk or table, two legs fold out diagonally from the back of the frame to form a stand that keeps the book upright. The device works with hard- and soft-cover books.

Notes: Shipping and handling charges are not included in the purchase price.
