Picture of ADAPT-A-LAP The Adapt-A-Lap is an angle- and height-adjustable book holder designed for use by individuals with mobility and upper extremity disabilities. This lightweight plastic easel features two moveable straps to hold the reading material in place and a see through filament to hold the pages open. An extendible leg and a base with concave and convex curves provides stability and the easel can rest on the user's upper chest to bring the material closer to those with low vision. This device adapts to a variety of positions and can be used lying in bed, sitting, reclining in a chair, or working at a desk.
