MultiMail is a voice-output, large print, switch-accessible e-mail program designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision, or who need alternative input methods because of fine motor or other physical disabilities. The program allows users to read, write, and send e-mail on a computer using a mouse, keyboard, touch screen, or switch device. The program also offers many user options for reading e-mail, including large text, text highlighting, a choice of colors and fonts, speech synthesis, an on-screen keyboard, and word prediction. On-screen controls appear as buttons rather than pull-down menus. Different users can choose their preferred settings; each user has an icon for their particular settings, which are then used throughout the e-mail program. COMPATIBILITY: For use with IBM and compatible computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Version 2.05 requires Windows 95/98/2000 and Version 1.0b is compatible with Windows 3.11 and Windows 95.

Notes: MultiMail is freely available for distribution but cannot be sold for profit. It may be downloaded from the manufacturer's web site. ** This product was developed by the Equity Access Research and Development Group of the Deakin University School of Information Systems.
