Picture of PERFECT OCR Perfect OCR is an optical character recognition (OCR) program designed for use by individuals who have low vision. Using the camera of an Apple iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad, the program scans letter-size or A4-size page documents using image-processing algorithms and offers SureScan 3x scanning mode which outputs sharper images than normal mode. Perfect OCR’s “Email to myself” feature allows the user to send documents to email addresses or upload to online storage services such as Evernote and Box.net. The program features multipage text recognition with accuracy indicator, text editing, copy-to-clipboard, built-in OCR text archive with file sharing via iTunes, searchable PDFs with document images, and simple text formatting. Other features include: email multipage PDFs with text, last page image, or both; email text and image files (.txt, .jpg) or save image to library; auto-remove line breaks; automatic document edge detection and perspective correction; and compact attachments with adjustable size. Available OCR languages include English, French, Spanish, German, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese, Swedish, and Russian. COMPATIBILITY: For use with the Apple iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad.
