« Previous Product Next Product »REACH Scan Plus is an on-screen keyboard program designed for use by individuals with severe physical or upper extremity disabilities who use scanning programming. REACH Scan Plus is a software bundle that includes the REACH Interface Author (see separate entry), the Smart Keys and Smart Lists add-ons for REACH (see entries for REACH with Smart Keys and REACH with Smart Lists), and ScanBuddy mouse emulator (see separate entry). This bundle enables individuals using switch scanning input because users can type, augment communication, and control the keyboard with REACH Interface Author, type faster because of Smart Keys, and leave the keyboard to perform mouse functions such as dragging a window, double clicking an icon, etc. with ScanBuddy. When the user chooses, scanning control is transferred from the keyboard to ScanBuddy in order to perform mouse operations. Similarly, when mouse activity is complete, scanning control is passed back to the keyboard (seamless transfer to and from the keyboard). COMPATIBILITY: For use on IBM or compatible computer. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Windows XP or better, Pentium IV processor or better, 256 megabytes (MB) RAM, 75 MB of hard drive space, and a sound card.
