EMT Link is an emergency alert system with monitoring service designed for use by seniors or individuals with mobility or severe physical disabilities or spinal cord injury. This personal emergency response system (PERS) allows the user to send an alarm and request assistance by pressing a button on an automatic calling console unit or a hand-operated radio transmitter. A telephone connection is established automatically with the SafetyCare Response Center. A third button on the console can be programmed as a log on/log off button (check-in feature) or as a service key for other functions. The unit can dial up to six alarm numbers. Two kits are available for installing a complete system for 24 hours a day, seven days a week monitoring by emergency medical technicians (EMTs) at the SafetyCare Response Center. The first comes with a Caveo872 console and all supported peripherals. The second comes with the CaveoAS console and all supported peripherals. OPTIONS: Wireless smoke and low-temperature detectors; fall detectors; Caveo872 or Caveo AS Carephone from Robert Bosch GmbH (The Bosch Group); Emergency Call Transmitter (model S35); Radio Transmitter (model S37); Universal Transmitter (model RAC35). POWER: Uses household current with five-day battery back-up.
