Picture of LIFESTATION MEDICAL ALERT SYSTEM LifeStation Medical Alert System is an emergency alert system with monitoring service designed for use by seniors and individuals with mobility, neurological, or balance disabilities or who at risk for medical emergencies. The system includes a console unit that connects to a telephone line, and a waterproof wireless transmitter pendant that can be worn in wristwatch, necklace, or belt clip style. When the user presses an emergency button on the console or the transmitter, the console unit automatically places a telephone call to preselected numbers. The user can then talk to the Lifestation emergency monitoring service via the console / speeakerphone. The speakerphone buttons have braille labels. OPTIONS: Lock box; additional pendants; and daily inactivity monitoring service. POWER: The pendant uses a lithium battery. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): The console unit is 3 x 8.75 x 7.5 inches. The pendant is 1.5 x .375 x 1.25 inches. WEIGHT: Console unit weighs 3 pounds and the pendant weighs 4 ounces.
