The ResponseLink Personal Emergency Response System is an emergency alert and medication reminder system with monitoring service designed for use by seniors and individuals with mobility disabilities, severe physical disabilities, or spinal cord injury. The system includes a two-way voice unit that connects to a telephone line and a pendant that can be worn on the user's wrist or around the neck. To contact a help center, the user pushes a red "Emergency" button on either the tabletop unit or on the pendant. In addition to emergency alert monitoring, the unit can provide up to 16 reminders each day to take medicine or measure vital signs. The system can be set up so that if the check button is not pushed by the end of a pre-determined time frame to confirm that the action has been taken, a signal is sent back to the monitoring center and an operator will call to see if they can provide help. OPTIONS: Daily check-in and wellness verification; wake-up call / check in; monitored photoelectronic smoke detector; extra pendant; fall detector.
Notes: The 24 hour monitoring service is available for $34.95 per month, which includes all equipment. There is a one-time enrollment fee of $50.00. There is no long term contract and the service can be cancelled with 30 days notice.
