The ADT Companion Services Personal Response System is an emergency alert system with monitoring service designed for use by seniors or individuals with mobility disabilities, severe physical disabilities, or spinal cord injury. This monitoring system includes a base unit and one personal help button. The personal help button is waterproof and comes in one of three styles (wristband, pendant, or stationary button). It provides wireless two-way voice intercom at up to 300 feet from the base unit. The base unit speaker phone can be answered with one button. The system also includes high- and low-temperature sensors that send an alert when unsafe levels are detected. POWER: Uses household current with backup battery. OPTIONS: QuietCare Plus, a combination of ADT Companion Services with the QuietCare remote medical monitoring system (see separate entry).
Notes: A $99.00 activation fee includes installation in most areas; a $34.95 monthly monitoring fee is also required.
