The 24/7 Medical Alert is an emergency alert system with monitoring service designed for use by seniors or individuals with balance or mobility disabilities or who are at risk for medical emergencies. The system includes a bedside console that calls a professionally monitored central station when activated by a wireless pendant transmitter. The small, waterproof transmitter can be worn in the shower, and covers a radius of 150 to 200 feet, depending on the construction of the home. The console connects to an existing telephone line, and includes a built-in DSL filter. OPTIONS: Replacement or additional transmitters. POWER: The console uses household current or backup rechargeable battery. The transmitter uses lithium battery. WEIGHT: Transmitter weighs less than 0.5 ounce.
Notes: There is a one time fee of $50.00 for the system plus a monthly monitoring fee of $24.00, paid quarterly or semi-annually.
