Picture of SONIC The Sonic is a lightweight three-wheeled scooter designed for indoor use by individuals with mobility disabilities. FRAME(LxW): 37 x 21 inches with a 28-inch wheel base. The turning radius is 34 inches and the ground clearance is 1.75 inches. The frame has disassembles into four parts for transport. The scooter is available in blue or red. CONTROLS: Adjustable tiller with fingertip controls. RWD: 24-volt direct drive transaxle rear-wheel drive. SEAT (WxD): 18 x 16 foldable molded plastic seat. The standard back height is 14 inches. The seat-to-deck height adjusts from 14 to 15 inches and the seat- to-ground height adjusts from 20 to 21 inches. A lap belt is optional. UPHOLSTERY: Charcoal fabric or vinyl. ARMRESTS: Standard. BRAKES: Electronic, regenerative, and electromechanical brakes. WHEELS: The front wheel is 2 x 7.5 inches and the rear wheels are 2.5 x 7.5 inches. Solid tires are standard. OPTIONS: Safety flag, forearm crutch holder, wishbone crutch holder, cane/crutch holder, quad cane holder, cup holder, oxygen tank holder, walker holder, rear basket, basket, and heavy-duty dust cover. POWER: Uses two 12-volt AGM or gel cell batteries with removeable battery pack. An off-board battery charger is included. SPEEDS: 4.25 miles per hour for a range of up to 10 miles. CAPACITY: 300 pounds. WEIGHT: 97 pounds without batteries. The heaviest piece when disassembled weighs 35 pounds. WARRANTY: Three-year limited warranty on the frame.
