Picture of SUPERIOR TALKING SCALE The Superior Talking Scale is a voice output scale designed for use by individuals with blindness or low vision. When the user steps on the scale, a pleasant female voice greets the user and tells the weight. The scale is equipped with an on/off button, to allow the weight to be viewed on the extra-large digital display without voice output. Weight can be provided in pounds or in kilograms at the push of a button. Accurate to 0.2 pound, this scale features an extra-wide platform for added stability and a ridged, textured surface to help prevent slipping. POWER: Uses 4 double-A batteries (included). DIMENSIONS(HxLxW): The scale is 1.5 x 12.5 x 14.5 inches. The display numbers are 1.25 inches tall. CAPACITY: 440 pounds. WARRANTY: 90-day satisfaction guarantee.
