ASL Animations Volume 1 is a sign language program designed for use by students who are deaf or hard of hearing. It contains animations of 200 American Sign Language words in these learning categories: About Me, Time, Feelings, Holidays, and Family. Animations feature six young, ethnically diverse SigningAvatar characters. The animations can be used to help students learn word meanings and make the connections between English text and American Sign Language. Animations are in GIF (graphical interchange format) or MOV (movie) format, and can be used within many different programs, such as Clicker 4, IntelliPics Studio, and PowerPoint, or within Web pages. They can be either single-cycle or multi-looped. COMPATIBILITY: For use with Macintosh or Windows computers.
