Picture of ASSESSMENT, EVALUATION, AND PROGRAMMING SYSTEM (AEPS) FOR INFANTS AND CHILDREN Assessment, Evaluation, and Programming System (AEPS) for Infants and Children, Second Edition, is a developmental evaluation system designed for use in assessment of children from birth to six years who have disabilities or are at risk for developmental delays. Professionals can use the system to assess and monitor six key developmental areas in young children: fine motor, gross motor, cognitive, adaptive, social-communication, and social. The assessment helps identify educational targets tailored for each child’s needs, formulate developmentally appropriate goals, conduct before and after evaluations to ensure interventions are working, and involve families in the whole process. Completed by interventionists, teachers, specialists, and caregivers, the test comes with an Administration Guide, two curricula for birth to age 3 and ages 3 to 6, and online data management through AEPSinteractive (AEPSi).
