The CarpalRest Laptop Sit/Stand Platform is a notebook/laptop computer support designed for use by individuals who stand or use elevated chairs to work. This table features a height-adjustable work surface with 15 settings, enabling it to be used with a variety of chair heights or by a standing user. The platform can be configured for right- or left-handed users and has a laptop area and a writing area. Both models have a heavy-duty anti-slip foam surface on the laptop area and a stable, five-arm caster base. To raise the height of the unit, the user places a foot on the base and lifts the laptop tray to the desired height. Lowering the height is accomplished by raising the platform to the maximum height to release the safety catch and then pushing it down to the desired height where the catch re-engages. OPTIONS: Security laptop cable lock, custom drawer packages, an extension tube for taller individuals, locking casters, and others. DIMENSIONS: For both units, the maximum height is 42.5 inches, the minimum height is 30.5 inches, and the base is 26 inches in diameter. On model LWS-24, the platform is 14 x 24 inches, the laptop area is 14 x 14.5 inches and the writing area is 14 x 9.5 inches. On model LWS-27, the platform is 16 x 27 inches, the laptop area is 16 x 13.5 inches and the writing area is 16 x 13.5 inches.
