Picture of DEQUE RAMP GRADE Deque Ramp Grade is Web site evaluation software designed to aid in making Web pages accessible to people with disabilities. This software checks for compliance with W3C-WCAG 1.0 and Section 508 standards. Users can configure the evaluation to suit an organization's accessibility policies and practices. The program produces reports for project supervisors and developers, such as listings of individual violations and summaries across checkpoints/ Section 508 rules. The program is accessible with JAWS For Windows (see separate entry) and has plug-ins for FrontPage, Dreamweaver and HomeSite. COMPATIBILITY: For use on IBM and IBM compatible or Apple Macintosh computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Windows 2000/XP, Macintosh OS X, Unix, or Linux operating system.
