The Vocalize! Wheelchair Cell Phone Voice Control System is a voice activated cell phone dialer with voice output cell phone caller identification designed for use by individuals with spinal cord injury or fine motor, upper extremity, or severe physical disabilities. The system mounts on a wheelchair and communicates wirelessly with a Bluetooth cell phone (not included). The user can call contacts, answer calls, and hang up with voice commands. The system provides natural voice prompts, and intelligently responds and asks questions when it does not understand. It can hold up to 150 voice contacts, supports any language, and can recognize commands from individuals with slurred speech if they speak consistently. The system can also be operated through push-button control. It announces incoming caller identity, provides appointment reminders, and reads incoming text and e-mail messages. A voice controlled digital media player for cell phone also allows the user to listen to music or audio books and watch movies on the cell phone screen with voice commands. An included Bed Kit extends usage to 24 hours a day. System components include a Brain Box, which is attached with Velcro to the bottom of the wheelchair seat pan; a lapel microphone, which is worn near the chin; a sip & puff controller, which clips to the front of the user's shirt or to the bed; a Flex Wheelchair Headrest Microphone, which swings away for transfers; a speaker, which bolts to the backrest or to the side of the wheelchair seat pan; a control interface; a power switch; and a Bed Kit with a patch cable and an extension cable for connecting an extra microphone on a headboard or side rail. POWER: Uses power wheelchair battery via a power adapter or a lithium-ion battery pack. The system comes with either a battery pack or a wheelchair battery power adapter. DIMENSIONS (LxW): The Brain Box is 2 x 5 inches. The Extension cable is 25 feet long. WARRANTY: 90 days from invoice date. Excludes physical damage or mishandling.
