The Zippie GS is a child's manual wheelchair designed for use by children with lower extremity, mobility, or neurological disabilities or spinal cord injury. This wheelchair is designed to grow with the child without the need for new parts. The Zippie GS provides a wide range of width, seat depth and other key positioning adjustments. Reversible wheel configuration, a universal axle plate and unique side frames add additional flexibility and stability. FRAME: Overall width is 19 to 27 inches. The frame is offered in 14 standard and three custom colors. The chair is available with a Transit Option for use in buses or vans. SEAT (LxW): 10 to 20 x 10 to 18 inches. Seat to floor height is 14 to 20.25 inches. The chair has dual seat rails that allow a variety of seating systems, including most solid or custom seats and backs, and drop seats. A growing solid seat pan is also available. CASTERS: Front casters are available in 3, 5, 5 x 1.5, 5 x 2., 6, 6 x 1.5, 8, 8 x 1.5, or 8 x 2 inches. WHEELS: Rear wheels are available in 12, 16, 18, 20, 22, or 24 inches. An adjustable universal axle plate allows the chair to be set up in either standard or reverse configuration, and allows half-inch vertical and horizontal adjustments to provide increased wheel access. One-arm drive is available as an option. CAPACITY: 150 pounds. WEIGHT: 25 pounds without footrests. DELIVERY TIME: Ground, next day, 2-day, or 3-day delivery.
