« Previous Product Next Product »The Evacuation Slyde, model 6400, is an emergency evacuation slide designed for use by individuals with lower extremity, mobility, or severe physical disabilities or spinal cord injury. The Slyde is a rectangular sled that enables two to seven attendants to move a non-ambulatory individual down the stairway in a multi-floor building. The slide is made of corrugated polypropylene, and comes with restraints with Fastex buckle that cross the user’s chest. It has four extended length web handles (one on each corner) that allow for an ergonomically correct upright posture for caregivers during stair descent. Assembly instructions are printed on each unit. The Evacuation Slyde folds for storage. OPTIONS: Stairwell Belay System, which enables lighter caregivers to control the descent of heavier or bariatric individuals; Stairwell Belay Box that is mounted on a wall in a stairwell in which the Stairwell Belay System can be stored and anchored during use; Evacuation Slyde Sleeve in which 5 or 15 folded Evacuation Slydes can be stored. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): 8 x 85 x 19 inches open and 2 x 75 x 19 inches when folded. CAPACITY: 500 pounds. WEIGHT: 9 pounds.
