Picture of BUILD-A-SENTENCE Build-a-Sentence is a language tutorial program designed for use by children with developmental or learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, language disabilities, or hearing impairments, or adults with aphasia. This interactive program strengthens labelling of nouns, verbs, and objects and production of 2- and 3-part sentences. Features include graded levels of difficulty; use of high frequency everyday vocabulary; modification of vocabulary to suit user needs; practice nouns or pronouns; modeling of key words followed by sentence expansion; reinforcement of literacy skills by inclusion of text; ability to turn off sound to encourage naming and sentence production. The program includes memory and naming games to encourage experimentation, fun, and spontaneous production. COMPATIBILITY: For use on IBM and compatible computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Windows 98/NT/2000/XP/Vista operating system; 128 megabytes (MB) RAM; sound card.
