The MedReady Automatic Medication Dispenser is a pill organizer and audible medication reminder designed for use by individuals with Alzheimer's Disease, brain injury, or cognitive or memory disabilities. The unit contains a medication-despensing carousel that holds up to 28 doses (up to four doses per day for seven days). A built-in programmable timer rotates the carousel to the next dose at the set time and an audible reminder signal sounds. The unit also has a built-in key lock to prevent double dosing or medicating at the wrong time. OPTIONS: The MedReady Automatic Medication Dispenser is available with a flashing light or low frequency sound alarm, and with a modem to connect to the Internet to report usage to a caregiver or monitoring service. POWER: Rechargeable batteries (included) or AC adapter (included). DIMENSIONS: 10.75 inches in diameter x 2.5 inches. COLOR: Blue.
