The ColorTest II Talking Color Analyzer is a color identifier designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. Using a clear human voice, this hand-held device announces the color of any object placed in contact with its sensitive detector. It can distinguish more than 1,000 nuances of color. About the size of a remote control, the device has a detector on one end that senses color, a built-in speaker, and three operations buttons. Depending on the settings selected, the device will announce the universal color name, the common color name, conventional color-analysis (hue, brightness, saturation), or special color-analysis (red, green, blue content). Other features include a talking clock, calendar, timer, thermometer, and three games (dice, roulette, and bingo); an earphone jack (earphones not included); and jacks to accommodate a neck loop. The device comes with a carrying case and instructions in print, braille, and on cassette. Languages available include English (model 1-03951-00) and Spanish (model 1-03951-SP). POWER: Uses built-in rechargeable battery with talking battery status and auto-off to save battery life. A charger is included. WARRANTY: One year limited warranty.
