(Verified 3/2001) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE ---The Dialogue XL-30V is a voice output amplified telephone designed for use by individuals who are hard of hearing and/or who have low vision. This phone announces each number pressed on the oversized keypad, as well as phone numbers dialed using one of the 12 memory buttons or the redial button. The phone amplifies incoming call volume up to 30 decibels (dB) and it can be set to amplify outgoing calls as well. The extra-loud ringer can be set to up to 85 decibels. The hearing-aid compatible handset helps reduce feedback, distortion, and unwanted background noise. The tone amplification selector enables the user to set the proper amplification for maximum clarity; a one-touch button returns the phone to its previous amplification. Other features include last number redial, a flash button for easy access to special phone services, a hold button, an unanswered call/voice mail indicator, direct connection to assistive listening devices, and a bright incoming call ring flasher. This phone can be used as a desk phone or it can be mounted on the wall. POWER: Uses an alternating current (AC) adapter (included) and has battery back-up (battery not included).
