« Previous Product Next Product »--- CUSTOM ADAPTATION --- PURPOSE: To create a portable seat to assist an individual with cerebral palsy who competes in international archery competitions. The seat meets international requirements such as not having the legs dig into the ground and occupying only the amount of specified in the rules. The three-legged chair stands independently and enables the user to have his feet on the ground. The legs are made from powder-coated 19 millimeter steel tubing and meet at a central point under the seat. The two longer back legs are angled approximately 25 degrees from vertical and are joined by a base piece at the bottom. The front leg angles approximately five degrees and fits into the center of a T-shaped section which joins the back to the center of the back leg base. The seat is made of sheet metal and is situated at a 45-degree angle from vertical 700 millimeters (mm) from the ground. The seat is covered with foam rubber covered with non-slip material. This enables the user to place his feet on the ground for weight bearing and stability. The components are held together with push button spring clips, enabling the chair to be dismantled for transport and storage. DIMENSIONS: The seat is 360 x 320 mm. TITLE: Archery Seat.
