Picture of ADAPTED SKI POLE --- DO IT YOURSELF ENTRY --- PURPOSE: To enable an individual with grasping disabilities to use a ski pole. A glove was specially sewn from a mitt to contain just two fingers. The fingers fit on either side of the post. The hand is held in place by the wide Velcro band around the arm and the wrist, which is made flexible by a rubber joint. TITLE: The Adapted Skipole.
