(Verified 3/2013) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Parallel Lap Belt, Integrated Lap Belt, and Retractable/Non- retractable Shoulder Belt are wheelchair restraint systems and seatbelts for wheelchair users while in vehicles. The Parallel Lap Belts provide an occupant restraint system that is independent of the mobility aide securement system and is available in either a premium or standard version. The Integrated Lap Belt provides an occupant restraint system dependent upon the mobility aid securement system, and connects directly to the mobility aid securement rear strap assemblies. The Retractable Shoulder Belt is designed for fixed or dedicated positions and offers increased occupant comfort due to the belt's automatic adjustability. The Non-retractable Shoulder Belt connects to a sidewall mounted track section in the vehicle. All of these models are designed to compliment the Kinedyne line of mobility aid securement systems (see separate entries).
Notes: Manufacturer states these belts meet or exceed the 30 mph/20g impact test requirements when used in conjunction with the Kinedyne FE500 series securement systems (see separate entry).
