Picture of SEE -------- PROTOTYPE --------- PURPOSE: To design a prototype of a wearable device to help individuals who are blind or have low vision to get information on products while shopping. The See is consists of a bracelet and a pair of ear buds. The bracelet contains a camera and software that allows users to scan bar codes by holding a product adjacent to the wrist. The bracelet scans the bar code with the camera, obtains information on the product, and relays that information as audio to the ear buds wirelessly via a Bluetooth connection.
