(Verified 08/2009) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Plextalk Basic Player, model TK-200, is a digital talking book player designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. The Plextor Basic Player plays talking books that have been recorded on compact disc (CD) in the international DAISY format. The Plextor Basic Player provides simple and easy navigation by index. The Voice Guidance function indicates total time on the CD, elapsed time, and remaining time. The Bookmark function allows the reader to put one bookmark per CD on up to 10 CD's, and the Resume function enables the reader to start playback where reading was previously stopped. The player provides digital sound quality from built-in speakers. The player's internal software can be upgraded over the Internet. POWER: Uses alternating current (AC) 90-250 volts 50/60 hertz (HZ). DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): 2.8 x 11.6 x 7.2 inches. WEIGHT: 3.75 pounds.
