06 18 Upper limb prostheses

06 18 03 Partial hand prostheses

Devices that replace part of the upper limb distal to the wrist joint, either after amputation or in cases of limb deficiency, at birth.
Included are, e.g., finger prostheses.

06 18 06 Wrist disarticulation prostheses

Devices that replace part of the upper limb at the wrist joint after amputation or, in cases of limb deficiency, at birth.

06 18 09 Trans-radial prostheses

Devices that replace part of the upper limb between the wrist and elbow joints after amputation or, in cases of limb deficiency, at birth.

06 18 12 Elbow disarticulation prostheses

Devices that replace part of the upper limb at the elbow after amputation or, in cases of limb deficiency, at birth.

06 18 15 Trans-humeral prostheses

Devices that replace part of the upper limb between the shoulder and elbow joints after amputation or, in cases of limb deficiency, at birth.
