12 12 18 Assistive products for transferring a person seated in wheelchair into or out of a vehicle

Devices for lifting a person and a wheelchair in which he/she is seated into or out of a vehicle or to allow a person in a wheelchair to roll into a vehicle.
Included are, e.g., hoists to transfer a person in a wheelchair into or out of a vehicle, ramps installed in a vehicle to facilitate the loading or unloading of an occupied wheelchair, and lifting platforms installed in a vehicle to facilitate the loading or unloading of an occupied wheelchair.
