Picture of HAND MOTION LAMP -- DISCONTINUED. VERIFIED 7/2012. RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. -- The Hand Motion Lamp is a motion activated lamp designed for use by individuals with fine motor or upper extremity disabilities. This lamp has two built-in passive infrared sensors that detect the level of light immediately above the lamps opening, allowing the lamp to be turned on and off with a wave of the hand over the top opening. After plugging it in, the light turns on when a hand is passed horizontally over the light. It self-calibrates to the illumination in a room within two minutes of being turned on, and, starting an inch above the sensor, the user can slowly raise an open hand away from the top of the light vertically to increase the brightness; moving an open hand vertically down towards the opening to dim the light. The lamp is made of mouth-blown glass, and it uses a 40-watt candelabra bulb. POWER: Uses standard household current. DIMENSIONS: 10 inches high x 5 inches in diameter. WEIGHT: 1.5 pounds. COLOR: White with red top trim.

Notes: Shipping and handling charges are not included in the purchase price listed.

Price: 99.95.
