(Verified 02/2010) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Easy Street is a pre reading and math tutorial program designed to build basic math and reading skills, visual memory skills as well as reinforcing discrimination skills for children with a developmental disability. Featuring digitized speech and a TouchWindow screen, this animated computer program presents the user with a wagon and a shopping list while introducing classification, labeling and matching skills. It also teaches the basics of counting. With a eight difficulty levels, it enables the user to customize the program to suit individual needs. The program comes with English and Spanish user and teacher guides and performance records for up to 25 players. COMPATIBILITY: Macintosh Plus or higher; Apple II+, IIe, IIc and IIGS; IBM or compatible. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Macintosh: 1MB for monochrome, 2MB for color; digitized speech with System 6.0.7 or better. For Apple, it requires 64K; color monitor; 5.25 inch disk drive; (IIGS requires 256K and 3.5 inch disk drive). Echo Speech Processor (see separate entry) is reqired for use with Apple 11e or IIc if speech output is desired. IBM: 128K for CGA, 640K for VGA; 5.25 or 3.5 inch disk drive (both disks included); IBM speech adapter card or Digispeech. OPTIONS: Spanish and English MS-DOS versions are available. The program is available on either 3.5 or 5.25 inch disks.
