Abrakadabra is a cause and effect training program designed for use by children with learning disabilities, cognitive disabilities, or upper extremity disabilities or spinal cord injury. This program is designed to help develop visual perception and language skills as well as early switch techniques. In this program, users build up 30 different pictures in stages by pressing a switch, touching a touchscreen, clicking a mouse, or pressing a key on the keyboard. Each time the switch/key/mouse is pressed, more of the image is built up. When the picture is complete, users see sound and animation that continue until the switch/key/mouse is pressed again. The program has three levels of difficulty, from simple graphics to complex scenes, each with ten different scenes to build. COMPATIBILITY: For use with IBM and compatible computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Windows and CD-ROM drive.
