Molded Back Supports are low back orthoses consisting of a plastic insert that is molded to the contour of the back, an elastic binder with a pocket for the insert, and a self-sticking closure system. The plastic insert is heated at 225 degrees Fahrenheit using an oven or hot plate. When cooled, the insert is placed in the pocket of the binder and worn for support to the lower back.
